Security InfoArfhe Wallet is the world's first browser extension wallet powered by Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE). It allows you to send, receive, swap, and shield your cryptocurrency with unprecedented privacy. It's a Chrome extension that supports Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and Fhenix networks.
Yes! Arfhe Wallet is completely free to install and use. It's open source software licensed under MIT. The only costs you'll encounter are blockchain network fees (gas) which are paid to the network, not to us.
Arfhe Wallet currently supports Chrome, Brave, Edge, Opera, and all Chromium-based browsers (version 88+). Firefox support is planned for a future release.
Yes, Arfhe Wallet is 100% open source. The entire codebase — including the browser extension, smart contracts, and this website — is publicly available on GitHub. Anyone can audit, contribute to, or fork the project.
FHE is a revolutionary encryption technique that allows computations to be performed on encrypted data without ever decrypting it. In the context of Arfhe Wallet, this means your token balances can be stored on-chain in encrypted form, and transactions can be processed without revealing the actual amounts to anyone — not even the blockchain validators.
Shield converts your regular (plaintext) token balance into an encrypted (FHE-protected) balance on the Fhenix network. When you shield WETH or WUSDC, the amount is encrypted using FHE and stored on-chain. Unshield reverses this process, converting your encrypted balance back to a regular balance. Both operations require a blockchain transaction.
No. Arfhe Wallet does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your private keys, seed phrases, and transaction history stay entirely on your device. We have no servers storing user data, no analytics tracking, and no telemetry. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
Your seed phrase is encrypted with AES-256 and stored locally on your device. It is never transmitted to any server. We recommend writing down your seed phrase on paper and storing it in a secure location. Never share it with anyone — Arfhe support will never ask for your seed phrase.
Since Arfhe is a self-custodial wallet, we do not have access to your seed phrase or private keys. If you lose your seed phrase and cannot access your wallet, your funds may be permanently lost. This is why we strongly recommend backing up your seed phrase in multiple secure locations.
Before you sign any transaction, Arfhe simulates it on a local fork of the blockchain. This shows you exactly what will happen: which tokens will move, what approvals will be granted, and how much gas will be consumed. If anything looks suspicious (like unexpected token approvals), the wallet warns you before you sign.
Click on the network name displayed at the top of the wallet interface. A dropdown will show all available networks. Simply tap the network you want to switch to, and your balances will update automatically.
You can connect to dApps in two ways: (1) Use the built-in DApp Browser from the toolbar, or (2) Use WalletConnect by scanning the QR code or pasting the connection link from the dApp. The wallet will ask you to approve the connection before sharing your address.
Yes! You can import any wallet by entering your 12 or 24-word seed phrase during setup. You can also add custom ERC-20 tokens by providing the token contract address. The wallet automatically detects popular tokens on supported networks.
